TECHBEE
To put this in perspective, a beekeeper with four colonies in a US Midwestern climate typically inspects their colonies about every two weeks from April through October. Based on our testing, a single 1.7 fl oz bottle can cover around an entire season of inspections for that size apiary.
Flower Power combines floral aromas with the familiar scent of wood smoke. Originally tested by beekeepers as M6, it offers a different scent from Vanilla Veil while providing a flameless alternative to traditional bee smokers.
The TechBee Flower Power is a precision-formulated smoker fuel designed specifically for the TechBee Electric Smoker. Each bottle contains 1.7 fluid oz, the exact amount needed to fill one TechBee smoker tank, so there is no measuring or guesswork.
See the video.
In field testing with commercial beekeepers, a single tank has lasted for around 50 hive inspections, making it a compact and efficient fuel option for both hobbyists and professionals.
Flower Power was developed through extensive beta testing to create a smooth smoke profile with a strong floral aroma that helps keep inspections calm while remaining simple and reliable to use in the field. Fill the tank, power up the smoker, and get to work.

Smells a little like, a very lite perfume, a woman might wear. Not heavy at all !
Store owner replied: Thanks Darrell, yes, there's a heavy floral aroma to this one.
We like the smell and it seems to be working well with most of our hives.
Store owner replied: Thanks Johnny, just curious, does it work better or worse than Vanilla Veil?
Work great!!!
Store owner replied: Thank you Keith!!!
The new Flower Power fuel is awesome! It really keeps the bees down and makes them think of coming back up between the frames and risking getting more! Don’t get me wrong, Vanilla Veil worked great too, but this new fuel works even better! You won’t be disappointed ordering this for yourself to keep those bees down between the frames longer. Great product Michael!
Store owner replied: Thank you for the review, Todd! I appreciate it, buddy! I am so glad that you like Flower Power.
Everything with the smoker is going good, one issue we just started running into is the trigger sticking and so the smoker runs until we pull out the battery. we are planning to give the smoker a good clean, but let us know if yiu have any tips. otherwise its a great product
Store owner replied: Thanks, James! I'll direct message you to keep track of the sticking.
I have used Vanilla Veil and Flower Power and both fuels work very well, however the Flower Power has a more pleasant smell to me and does a little better driving the bees down. I would use either fuel but moving forward will be purchasing Flower Power.
Store owner replied: Thanks for the feedback, Phil! Great to hear that the Flower Power is doing well with your bees.
The flower power fuel works as well as a traditional smoker!
Store owner replied: Thanks, Brian! I'm glad that it worked well for you! All the beta testers are working so hard to figure the best aromas out with me, it's amazing.
It seemed to work a lot better.
Store owner replied: So glad to hear that, Pat! Thank you for the feedback.
It really didn’t have much of an oder and I like it better that way. The bees were way calmer using it.
Store owner replied: Thank you for feedback, Pat!
Thank you for the tester of the Flower Power, I wanted to make sure to use it in full before leaving a review on it. It works just as well as the Vanilla and I do notice that it leaves a little less slick residue with less occasional leaking. I was able to complete roughly 50+ inspections with the tester vial as well. We’ve been able to complete a good volume of inspections using a brief 1-2 second smoking that tends to keep the colonies well under control for the duration of our inspections. Happy to help with future testing as well, my team and I have really enjoyed the electric smoker and it’s become extremely useful for traveling between sites.
Store owner replied: That's awesome to hear, Jeremy! Thank you so much for your review of this, it helps with our research! I also love hearing that you've done so many inspections with it, that's incredible. The good news is that once we get the leaking under control, the fuel lasts forever.
